LIEWOOD - Sustainable design for future generations

At LIEWOOD, we believe children are the future, and we are committed to making responsible and conscious choices that reduce our impact on the planet.

We are determined to continuously improve our processes and the materials we use, recognizing that sustainability is an ongoing process. Every day, we strive to make better decisions in our production, with a focus on reducing our ecological footprint.

We use responsible materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester, recycled nylon, recycled plastic, and certified wood. We also prioritize mono-materials in our textile production, which are easier to recycle than blended materials. We continuously seek new and responsible materials to improve our products and practices.

    LIEWOOD is proud to be certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), the world leader in certification for organic fibers. GOTS ensures that every step in the supply chain, from raw material to finished product, meets high ecological and social standards. This includes animal welfare and the prohibition of genetically modified organisms. Our GOTS certification supports the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and ensures that we meet the highest standards in sustainability and ethical production.

    LIEWOOD is also certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), which verifies that our products contain recycled materials and meet social, environmental, and chemical requirements at every stage of the supply chain. This certification supports our commitment to using more recycled materials in our production and helps create demand for recycled materials and best practices in sustainable production.

Our Story

LIEWOOD was founded in 2015 in Copenhagen by Anne Marie Lie Norvig, who transformed her passion for design, aesthetics, and her belief in the beauty of details into a brand. As a mother, Anne Marie understands the challenges of family life and created LIEWOOD to offer functional and beautiful products that meet the needs of modern families.

LIEWOOD is all about timeless design and quality materials, ensuring the products are durable enough to be passed down from child to child.
